Rolfing by Jen Soon

Rolfing is a service that leads to improved posture, facilitates greater ease of movement and provides relief to chronic pain.  Most often compared to deep-tissue work, the Rolfer applies deep, constant, slow pressure on areas holding patterns of tension, creating more space in the body to allow it to naturally align and re-organize itself.  The client may be asked to create small movements and walk to allow the body and mind to integrate the gained awareness of length, space and fluidity in movement.  Rolfing typically consists of a series of ten sessions designed to focus on the body in segments and the relationship to each segment as a whole.  Each session addresses specific aspects of structure and movement, unfolding and building on an other.
